Certain Data (ie name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, etc.) must be communicated by the Users to AL to allow the creation of an Account, or at other times during the automatic collection of others data. The optional or mandatory nature of the requested data will be indicated during data collection.

Users agree that AL may use their Data for the following purposes:

  • any operation relating to the management of Users concerning orders, deliveries, invoices, complaints and in particular the management of customer accounts, and the monitoring of the customer relationship such as marketing operations, conducting satisfaction surveys;
  • for services or support requested by the User;
  • to contact the User from time to time if the latter encounters a difficulty in navigating the Website or for service updates;
  • to personalize, measure and improve the services and contents accessible from the Website;
  • to verify the accuracy of the information and verify it with third parties;
  • to prevent activities that AL thinks are potentially illegal; and
  • for the implementation of the User Terms.

AL may be required to disclose this Data in order to meet the legal requirements, implement the User Terms and respond to any claims from third parties. In all cases, this information will be disclosed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

AL may also share this information with:

  • a third party provider implementing services on behalf of AL (such as conducting an online survey, for example);
  • third-party companies in the case of merger transactions.

AL uses the Data exclusively for the specific purposes described above. This information will not be sold to a third party for commercial or prospecting purposes.

AL may request information from Users to evaluate potential features and services. The decision to answer an inquiry rests entirely with each User. AL uses the information collected through these surveys to improve its services.

AL takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful processing of User Data and the loss, destruction or accidental deterioration of such Data.

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data ("General Regulation on the data protection ") and the Law of 30 July on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, each User has a right of access, rectification and deletion of his personal data, the right to oppose, for reasons relating to his particular situation, the processing of his personal data, as well as the right to define directives relating to the fate of his personal data after death.

In certain circumstances, the User also has the right to obtain the limitation of the processing of his personal data. For data processing requiring consent on his part, the User has the right to withdraw his consent at any time. Transfer of Personal Data outside the European Economic Area

Moreover, the provision of communication tools and platforms entails the transmission of the User's personal data (names, first names and e-mail address) for the purpose of identification as well as all the data exchanged (messages, documents, etc.) for hosting and administration purposes to providers located in countries outside the European Economic Area, in the United States, whose personal data protection legislation differs from that in force in the European Economic Area.

When AL transfers User data to the United States, we will treat your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Standard Contractual Clauses that were set out by the European Commission (decision 2010/87/EU) and that are signed with our providers.
Moreover, because of the international dimension of the group and its organisation, AL transfers personal data of the User’s personal data within its entities located in countries not members of the European Economic Area. These transfers are covered by "Binding Corporate Rules" approved by the competent authorities for the protection of personal data. You can consult them by following this link.

Phishing or false e-mails to the User

In the event that Users receive an unsolicited e-mail purporting to come from AL and requesting personal information (such as credit card, username or password) or requesting verification or confirmation of their Account or other personal information by clicking on a link, this e-mail was probably sent by an individual trying to illegally obtain information, sometimes called "phishing" or "usurper". AL does not request this type of information by e-mail. The User is invited not to provide the required information and not to click on the proposed link. If you click on such a link, the User's Account or the information he provided to the Website would not be compromised. On the other hand, the sender of this e-mail could have access to the data communicated by the User, if these data were provided in the link or by return e-mail.
